This site works best when viewed with the Browser 'Microsoft Internet Explorer.'We believe you will be pleasantly surprised at how easy this program is to use. Those of you with dial up will find the pdf files slow to load so be patient.
I am an Authorized IRS Efile Provider which means you can find my name and address listed at the IRS website under tax practitioners.
This web site provides all the necessary tools at a low cost for individuals who prefer to prepare and efile their own tax returns.
It is assumed you are comfortable with your computer, printer and with IRS tax forms.
There are multiply areas of help available for those who need it. The main page has Help located on the left side at points of General, Federal, and State Tabs plus additional links. Once you click on the IRS e-file Symbol there will be additional Help available on each IRS form and at each line. Additionally, there is Online help for technical questions.
Gather ALL your financial information including: last year's tax return, social security cards, w2's, 1099s, child care provider, etc and your bank account number and routing number.
Choose a quiet time of day when you will not be disturbed. Put on some music and take your time. Work your way through your financial information. Use last years' tax return as a guide. Before long you will have completed your return. There are no fees charged until your finished and satisfied with your results. You can do it!
Did you remember to check out changes in tax law? There are numerous changes in tax law this year. There are changes in determining your qualifying child, in charitable contributions, automatic extensions. Please check out these changes plus others before beginning.
If your just to busy this year to update yourself on changing tax law and cannot finish your tax return, please call for an appointment. You can always try again next year.
